Maruti SX4 Diesel Variant by Mid 2010






India's largest passenger car maker Maruti Suzuki is reportedly planning to launch a diesel variant of SX4. The new SX4 diesel would be about Rs. 40,000-50,000 pricier than the petrol variant.

Maruti Suzuki SX4 Diesel will debut in the local car dealer's showroom with a 79 percent local content and will proclaim the arrival of Maruti's third platform. The all new platform will tie in an engine strategy to cover both Euro4 and Euro5 compatibility.

Maruti believes that many of its loyal customers will be bowled over by the all new Maruti Suzuki SX4 and will definitely prefer it in comparison to other models placed in similar segments. Maruti India is quite positive that the diesel version of Maruti Suzuki SX4 will do well going by the excellent performance of Maruti Swift Diesel. Sx4 has Awesome power. U come to appreciate this when you are overtaking slow trucks on our ridiculously narrow state highways. Its god sent.Nice and spacious. You can go on road trips with loads of stuff on the back seat (you know, coke/beer, chips, blanket .. what more? go for Sx4!!!
