Honda Launches 6 Models in Auto Expo 2010


Honda has launched six production vehicles in Auto Expo 2010, Delhi. These six models includes 102 cc scooter Honda Dio, 110 cc bike Honda CB Twister and 125 cc bike CBF Stunner. Tata Launches Tata Aria, Tata Venture and Tata Magic Iris


Tata has unveiled three vehicles in Auto Expo 2010, namely the Tata Aria - 7-seater passenger car, the Tata Venture - multi-purpose vehicle, the Tata Magic Iris – new passenger carrier and also the all new Jaguar XJ. Ratan tata, Chairman of Tata and his sons has launched them. The Tata Motors Group displayed 37 vehicles in this auto Expo. By these new launch Tata will attract more range of peoples. Tata said that these new vehicles are representative of their technology base and they are environment-friendly. This will attract environment-cautious people to purchase these new vehicles.

Volkswagen Launched Polo, Race Polo In India



Volkswagen India launched Volkswagen Polo in India in Delhi Auto Expo 2010. It is the first premium small car from Volkswagen. It will available in 1.2 litre petrol engine produces 75hp@5400rpm and torque of 110Nm@3750rpm, and diesel engine produces maximum power of 75bhp@4200rpm and 180Nm@2000rpm, It will be available in three variants – Trendline, Comfortline and the Highline. With this small car, VW also introduced Race Polo model. Race polo will compete in the Volkswagen Polo Cup going to held in India in June 2010. It will be available with 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engine.

Tata Sumo Grande MKII :: Details, Price

Tata has recently launched a new upgraded version of its Tata Sumo. It comes with new NVH levels, suspension, interiors and ofcourse the exteriors. In this way Tata tries to get more share in MPV market. This new upgrade is might because the market of the old Sumo was taken over by the Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo.

The diesel engine is a 2.2 L direct injection common rail - DICOR engine with a variable geometry turbocharger with 16 valve double overhead camshaft, producing 120 bhp at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1500-3000 rpm.

BMW to launch BMW Gran Turismo, BMW X6 M, and BMW 760Li in Auto Expo 2010




BMW will launch its BMW Gran Turismo, new BMW X6 M, and the new BMW 760Li in Auto Expo 2010, Delhi starting from Tomorrow. It will be launched in the end of 2010. The BMW India will also display BMW 3 Series, BMW Z4, BMW X5 and BMW 5 series.

    New Small cars Launch in india in 2010

    New year 2010 has come with so many new launches including both two wheelers and four wheelers. Auto Expo 2010 is scheduled to be held in Delhi in 5th of January, 2010. So many companies has arranged to launch their new productions in this expo. Hybride cars are also coming with new technologies. New superbikes from Suzuki, Honda, Harley Devidson are also coming in India this year.


    Ford Figo ::

    Ford is all set to launch its small car, Figo in india in February 2010. It might come with 1.2 litre petrol engine produces 75 bhp power. Price is expected around 3.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs. It will compete other small cars like chevy sparks, hyundai small cars and skoda fabia.


    Nissan Micra ::

    Nissan will launch its new small car, Micra in 2010. It will be manufactured in chennai plan. It will be price something around 4 lakhs and will come with a new 1.2-1.3 litre (xh5) engine produceing 70 bhp power. Diesel option will also be available.



    Toyota EFC / Yaris ::

    Toyota is always being consider for heavy cars, but now Toyota will come with new Entry level Family car which will be priced around 5 to 6 lakhs. There are so many prediction about the name of this car. Yaris is one of them. Will come with 1.2 litre petrol engine producing 80 bhp power and will give 14-16 kmpl mileage. It will be put against Maruti Suzuki swift and skoda fabia. Company will invest 1400 crore rupees in this plan.




    Volkswagen Polo ::

    Volkswagen is all set to display its small car polo in india in January 2010. VW has already started production of polo. 50 % of its overall parts will be manufactured in india. Polo would be available in both petrol and diesel variants, petrol engine will be 1.2 litre petrol engine, generally fitted in small cars. Engine will produce 75 to 90 bhp power and will give mileage of 14-16 kmpl. Expected price is around 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs.

    Skoda to launch SUV Yeti in india :: Price, Details




    Skoda India is all set to launch its SUV, Yeti in india with the possible price tag of 10 lakhs. It offers off-roader mode with ABS system. Skoda Yeti comes with so many great features. The solid design of the SUV body and the robust doorsills and columns, special mounting for the engine and pedals and up to nine airbags, including a knee airbag for the driver and rear side airbags, will reliably protect the space for the driver and passengers. When the airbags are activated, the fuel pump also switches off, as do the fuel supply and certain electrical circuits, which helps prevent fire. It also includes warning lights.
    Petrol engine : A four-cylinder 1.2 TSI/77 kW petrol engine
    Diesel engines : 2.0 TDI CR DPF engine, which is available in two performance variants, 81 and 103 kW.

When Suzuki is planning to phase out its Alto car, they are planning to introduce new entry level car that should replace Alto.
