The Honda Shine engine has been specially developed for Indian conditions. Termed as ’’OPTIMAX’’ which means ’’Optimum Input for Maximum Output,’’ this engine optimizes the fuel input to maximize output i.e. it maximises the engine performance in terms of mileage & pickup. It also delivers best balance of mileage and pickup.

• 0-60 kmph in just 5.3 seconds
• Mileage 65 kmpl *

during regular service, engine RPM in neutral was set to 75-80, then bike getting stopped while slowing/down gear shifting/stand still. i was adviced to keep neutral RPM at 105-110 to avoid this problem and oil consumption might be more. what should be the stnadard RPM in neutral?

@ Anonymous........... rpms are counted in thousands not in double or 100's digits .........the bike will show u single digits x 1000 ..... 1500 is the best at neutral .......

Honda’s commuter bikes are very bland. They need to give it some style and features like digital instrumentation.
