Hyundai Motor India Ltd has registered a 1.8% decline in cumulative sales for the month of March 2009. While the domestic sales dropped by 15.8%, exports grew by 21.6%.
HMIL’s total sales for March stood at 46,160 units against 47,001 units in March 2008. The domestic market accounted for 24,754 units compared to 29,401 units for the same month last year while exports totaled 21,406 units in March 2009 against 17,600 units of March 2008.
