Upcoming Launch : Tata Aria : A new Platform Car

Tata is all set to launch a new crossover, this is not just an ordinary crossover. It is loaded with features that put it a side from other cars, Tata Aria Crossover.

Tata Aria Crossover is being built upon the ladder-frame chassis also known as X2 platform. It will be then fitted in Safari, Sumo and other pickups. X2 platform took almost 6 years for Tata to be built up. It uses high pressure hyudraulic fluid to shape chassis components. This makes a vehicle lighter in weight.

Tata Area Crossover sports 2.2 litre Dicor Engine, expected to produce 140 bhp of power @ 4000 rmp, and torque of 32.6 kmg @ 1700-2700 rmp and comes with Four-wheel drive, ESP technology and rear disc brakes. Its long wheel base, large wheels and new improved suspension gives better ride comfort.

Price is expected to touch 12-14 lakh price tag. And Tata Aria Crossover expected to arrive mid-2010.
