BMW launches 2011 BMW X5 in India






BMW, today launched a face lifted version of X5 in Guargaon, India. It will be available from October 2010. BMW X5 will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. For petrol variant, BMW X5 XDrive50i will cost 69.5 lacs rupees. For Diesel variant, BMW X5 XDrive30d will cost 52.9 lacs rupees in india. The petrol engine produces 407 hp power and maximum torque of 600 nm at 1750-4500 rmp, taking 5.5 secs to achieve 100 kmph from the stand. The diesel variant comes with engine producing 245 hp power and max torque of 540 nm at 1750-3000 rmp, taking 7.5 to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph.

New 2011 BMW X5 has many exterior changes. It has redesigned the whole car, with the change of position of standard fog lamps. It comes with xenon headlights fitted, the tail light's shape is also changed. BMW X5 can be used as 7 seater. BMW X5 comes with eight-speed automatic transmission and speed-dependent Servotronic steering assistance system..
