TwitterMercedes' Multi Purpose Vehicle(MPV) 'Mercedes R Class' is now in India at 58.79 lakh rupees. (Ex-showroom Delhi) With 5 Door design, AWD - All wheel drive and 7G-Tronic automatic transmission, it will create a new segment for Mercedes which will have luxury of sedan and performance of SUV.
Mercedes R Class, R350 4Matic is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, generates a peak power of 272 hp @ 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 35.7 kgm @ 2,400 rpm. It takes only 8.4 secs to reach 0 to 100 kmph and has top speed of about 230 km per hour. The fuel efficiency is claimed as 13 km pl.
The rear seat passengers will have 8 inch screens to watch videos and it has USB connection. It is a family car and seven people can comfortably travel in it.
