Bajaj is all set to launch its first car in 2012 to enter into the car market of india. It will be light weight car and bajaj is currently thinking of the cars production. It might work in collaboration with Renault. In Auto Expo bajaj has also announced that it will launch nano-priced low cost car in india in following few years.

Hyundai is planning to launch a small car which will be put in same category in which the Maruti 800 is. It will be price nearer the price of Maruti 800. Currently Hyundai is working on this small car and it will be ready to launch in mid of 2011.
Maruti 800 has been phased out in 13 cities because of the new Bharat Stage IV Emission norms. It was price around 2.1 lakh ex-showroom price. Hyundai is planning to launch a car which will be price nearer to 2 lakh.
