Maruti Suzuki has decided to give a makeover to its popular hatchback Swift. Maruti Suzuki had launched Swift in 2005 and it received good response too. Maruti Suzuki thinks it time to introduce third generation swift which well be larger than the existing model.
Nissan has launched its small car Micra in India. Nissan has registered 400 advanced booking for its small car. The New Nissan Micra is will be manufactured in India, and it will be the first car that is going to be manufactured in India. The delivery of Nissan Micra will start from 15th of July. Company said it will produce 80,000 units of Micra per year.
Honda has launched new Honda CIVIC with some additional features. Honda civic has got good response since its launch and company has launched this new version with additional features to boost up its sales. New Honda Civic SMT costs Rs.12.2 lakhs, Honda Civic VMT costs Rs. 13.07 lakhs and Honda Civic CAT costs Rs. 13.81 lakhs.
German Luxury car maker Audi has registered sales growth of 65 percent in May 2010. It has sold 200 cars as compared to 121 units sold in May 2009.
Chevrolet has announced to launch Diesel version of Beat. Price is not declared yet. Chevrolet has already started production of Beat Diesel in its Talegaon kohinoor plant which has capacity of manufacturing 1.6 lakh cars per year.
