Nissan launched Sunny : Price starts from 5.78 Lakh

Japanese automaker Nissan has launched one more car in India. This time it has launched mid-size sedan "Nissan Sunny". Price for base model is 5.78 lakh and for top end model it goes up to 7.68 lakh.

Nissan Sunny employs 1.5 litre DOHC 16 valve engine, which generated 99 PS power at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. Only three petrol versions will be available for Nissan Sunny. No Diesel option!

Nissan Sunny is being manufactured in Nissan's Chennai plant which Nissan own with its partner Renault.

Nissan vise-president said that India is the exciting market for many auto giant. And they will be launching another 3 models in India by 2015.

Price of spare parts of Bajaj Pulsar 150

Recently i took my Bajaj Pulsar 150 to the service center to get it serviced. It was Bajaj Authorized service center in Paldi, Ahmedabad and i think the parts they replaced in my pulsar are genuine.

Frankly speaking, i am a lazy guy, i got my pulsar repaired and serviced almost after 2 years. Until now i used to changed the engine only and some of the other minor maintenance like brake repairing and other small things occurred over the time. And seriously, that f*cked up my bike badly.

Difference between onroad price and ex-showroom price

If you ask me what is the difference between the "on-road price" and "ex-showroom" price, i would say, " Dude! there is f*cking huge difference between on-road price and ex-showroom price if you are considering small budget car."

If you ask someone, "I would like to buy a small car and my budget is 5 lakh."

Many people would suggest go for Hyundai i20, Maruti suzuki swift and etc etc. But let me tell you one thing that with this budget you will get only basic variants of i20 or swift and that is with petrol engine!

When you see Car advertisement like, "starting price 5 lakh only!!" That would be the "EX-SHOWROOM" price of base variant and probably with petrol engine. Diesel cars cost 1 to 1.5 lakh more then their petrol variants. And also the petrol cars are easily available in India while the diesel cars generally have waiting period.

Potholes are so common on indian roads that they need signs to alert vehicles, "slow down, there are f*ckin' potholes ahead!"

Here in ahmedabad, there is noway you go beyond 60 kmph. There is a lot more traffic on main roads and if there is no traffic, there will be potholes to slow you!

I visited Volkswagen and hyundai showrooms in surat as i m planning to buy diesel hatchback this diwali. I had shorted out 3 cars as finalist, Maruti Suzuki Swift 2011 [new latest swift, launched recently], Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai i20.

Maruti suzuki Swift : I dropped the idea of buying this one as there is waiting period of almost 8 months, this might be due to the strike in their manesar plant. Swift diesels top end model, Maruti Suzuki Swift ZDi costs 6.38 ex-showroom which is the most expensive car among these three cars.
