Toyota has launched new revival in entry level luxury sedan, a face-lifted version of old Toyota Camry. Priced at 23.8 lakh, new camry gets new headlamps, new chrome grille and front bumper. This new version of Toyota Camry's parts are being assembled in India.
Japanese Car Maker, Mitsubishi will bring small car to India, named as Mitsubishi Mirage. Mitsubishi is know for Pajero and Lancer in India. Mitsubishi Outlander is also one of the hits.
Mitsubishi is not so active in Indian car market but now its planing to launch Small Car in India. India has very huge small car market, and every car manufacturer should keep this in mind. Price of Mitsubishi Mirage is said to be 5-6 lakh [approx.]
Renault would be presenting its fifth Indian car, new Renault Scala this diwali, before 2013. Its fifth addition to Renault car range for India after Renault Fluence, Renault Koleos, Renault Pulse and Renault Duster. Renault Scala is said to be the clone of Nissan Sunny. I find Scala way smaller then the 'caaaar' - Nissan Sunny. It would be powered by the same engines, 1.5-litre 84.8bhp diesel and 1.5-litre 98bhp petrol, used to power Nissan Sunny.
Ford is introducing its Budget SUV, Ford EcoSport in India. In Fact, ford has planned to launch it worldwide. EcoSport would be powered by 1 litre petrol engine, EcoBoost which is Ford's smallest engine, is tuned to maximize performance with saving fuel.
The 3 cylinder engine produces 120 Ps of maximum power and 170 Nm of maximum torque at 1500 rpm. Ford EcoSport Diesel would follow after the launch of petrol version.
