After increasing petrol price twice in single month [in 30 days], first on 16th feb by 1.5 rupees and on 2nd march by 1.4 rupees, oil-companies have announced reduction in petrol price by 2 to 2.5 rupees. Depending upon state-tax on petrol.
Petrol will costs 68.34 in Delhi post price deduction.
Petrol does not get any kind of subsidies from Government and its pricing is now in hands of oil-companies which is owned by states. We should reduce use of vehicles wherever possible and try to use public transport or sharing ride with your co-workers / friends.
