Vintage Drive : Royal Enfield launches Bullet 500

Royal enfield has added new bike in its bullet range, Royal Enfield Bullet 500. New Royal Enfield Bullet 500 comes with 499cc, Single Cylinder, 4 stroke, Twinspark, Aircooled engine producing 26.1 bhp of power @ 5100 rpm and 40.9 Nm of torque @ 3800 rpm.

The engine fitted in Bullet 500 is same as the Classic 500 and Thunderbird 500 without electric fuel injection. Royal enfield Bullet 500 has vintage look, and is available in all new shade of Green color.

The First Honda Diesel is here! Honda unveiled Amaze Sedan in India..

A much awaited Honda Amaze, the first Honda Diesel Sedan in India is launched with price range of rupees 4.99 lakh to 7.60 lakh. Honda Amaze would be available in both petrol and diesel options. Amaze if available in six petrol variants, among which 2 are automatic, and four diesel variants, diesel option do not have automatic variant. Petrol variant Amaze E is offer with price tag of 4.99 lakh. Diesel starting variant Amaze E diesel is priced at 5.99 lakh.

Honda's sales was down in India due to increasing petrol price and Honda has no diesel cars in market. Now that Honda put entry level diesel sedan, and price is also relatively low, Honda would see brighter days again.!

Baby Ninja launched : Bajaj Launches Kawasaki Ninja 300

Bajaj has introduced new Kawasaki Ninja 300 with the price tag of 3.5 Lakh. Kawasaki which runs its operations in India with Bajaj, has replaced old Ninja 250 with new upgrade, Ninja 300. Kawasaki uses Bajaj Pro-biking stores to sale its bikes in India.

Actually one can not say its upgrade, as Kawasaki has taken serious care about Baby Ninja, and have worked really hard on Ninja 300 to give him a new avatar. New Kawasaki Ninja 300 looks more aggressive and serious compared to previous version.

BMW to make sub 500cc bikes with TVS

Germany Giant, BMW has tied up with Chennai-based TVS Motor Company to manufacture bikes having heart of 500cc or less. Both companies will work together to manufacture 500cc less bikes. BMW said they will offer their existing range plus these bikes to satisfy global demand.

BMW and TVS would use Chennai based TVS motors' bike manufacturing facility to manufacture bikes under the joint brand of TVS and BMW. Also company would only work on sub 500cc bikes. Joint venture would use TVS dealer network to sell these new bikes in India. The first bike would be launched in 2015.

Eco Drive : Mahindra to power Verito with electric motor

After Reva e2o, Mahindra is planning to launch Verito powered by electric motor. Reva e2o is four-seater car, which is powered by 3 Phase Induction Motor, producing 25.5 bhp of power at 3750 rpm and 53 Nm of torque @ 3400 rpm. Reva e2o is priced at 6 lakh ex-showroom.

Mahindra Verito Electric would be powered by motor producing 38.9 bhp of power, which is more powerful motor compared to e2o, is expected to give same mileage of 100km per charge. Car takes six hours to get fully charged.
