Honda has launched new facelift version of Honda Dio. Honda Dio was first introduced a decade ago and was quite favorite among college students. But it really needed changes to be in competition.

New 2012 Honda Dio is all fiber-plastic bodied to reduce its weight. It shares same engine as the Honda activa and Honda Aviator are using, but can deliver more mileage compered to both of them as it is light weight. Mileage of new 2012 Dio is ~55 kmpl, as Honda says fiber body can improve 15% more fuel efficiency. It has maintenance free battery which is common in Activa, Dio and Aviator.

Volvo Small Car In India 2012

Volvo is planning to launch new small car, Volvo V40 in Geneva Motor Show next month. Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India said that there will be two launch globally, one small car would be launched in india. Small car is necessary to get volumes in India.

Volvo V40 is expected to be priced at 20-22 lakh in india. It would be available in both petrol and diesel variants. For diesel it would get 2-litre diesel The five-cylinder 2-litre turbodiesel engine. 2.4 litre diesel might also be available. There would be 1.5, 2 and 2.5 litre petrol variants available. Volvo currently have 3 models in india, S60 [price starting from 24 lakh], S80 [price starting from 32 lakh] and XC60 [price starting from 34 lakh].
