Nissan has recalled 22,188 Micra and Sunny due to fix faulty brake system. This recall is for those Nissan Micra and Sunny which were manufactured in Oragadam, Chennai plant. Nissan plans to begin notifying individual customers. Nissan dealers will replace the master brake cylinder at no cost to the customer.
Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is getting new upgrade soon. There would be upgrade in engine, which will get Fuel Injection - FI technology. Bajaj was the first to get FI technology in India. With new technology engine, Bajaj Pulsar 200 would get better mileage then the existing. Bajaj has already built engine with 3 sparks which help engine increasing mileage.
The sad news is that, this will increase price of Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. It would roughly cost 10-12k more. Current on road price of Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is 95,000 rupees in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
I have been helping a friend choosing his next bike. He was sure about pulsar and didn't want to go for any other Company in same range. But he was confused between 200NS and 220F. He liked look of 220 very much but also liked technology of 200 NS. So here what i experienced while test drive both the bikes.
About Pulsar 220F : Pulsar 220F has unique look, DTSi technology is also good. Its engine produces 21 bhp of power and gives mileage of approx 35-40 kmpl. While test driving, i found 220F quite comfortable as compared to 220F, but it was because i used to drive pulsar 150 and seating position is somewhat similar to that. 220F comes with disc brakes both front and rear and tubeless tyres. both telescopic suspensions, Nitrox at rear.
Maruti Suzuki is celebrating 1st anniversary of its LUV, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga by launching special Edition. New limited edition Ertiga, which is named as Ertiga Feliz, would have some cosmetic changes plus some interior feature changes. Ertiga Feliz would get silver front grill, silver color fog lamps, silver color rear view mirror cover, graphics on both the side, rear spoiler, etc.
Interior changes includes new seat covers, new door mats, car pillows, rear parking censor with digital display, steering wheel cover, changes in music system, etc.

TVS has posted teaser images of new upcoming TVS Apache bike on its official site as well as its official Facebook page. TVS had launched new look of Apache RTR 180 with day time running light in last year, but guess it did not work well. So TVS is now up with something new for its racing DNA.
TVS has mentioned that Apache RTR series is getting new skin. So it is possible that engines remains same. Chennai based TVS Motor has not announced date of launching this new breed of RTR series. Also it is not declared whether the whole RTR series (Apache RTR 160, Apache RTR 180 and Apache RTR 180 ABS) is getting this face lift update. Like our facebook page for more updates.
We got many comments asking if LML is coming back. Now the good news is that LML is starting again its operations in India. LML would launch one scooter and a commuter bike at first. Maharastra and Gujarat are the first to get started with. A commuter bike is 100cc freedom, it had seen good days in past in indian bike market. Now LML is launching it again and it might get good response. Scooter includes Star 4T automatic scooter, which it exports from india.
Hero Motocorp has announced 5 years of warranty on all bikes of company in India. Warranty only includes bikes which are purchased on or after 13th April, 2013. Also warranty is valid for 5 years or 70,000 km for bikes and 50,000 for scooters whichever comes first.
In an interview with CNBC TV 18, Rajiv Bajaj has said that they have planned two pulsars and four to six discovers this current year. Bajaj said that they have planned to launch two pulsar, one below 200cc and one far above 200cc. Which means we can expect Bajaj Pulsar 350 or something like that.
Bajaj Discover 100T is performing well in Indian bike market, in 100cc segment which is generally hero motocorp monopolized segment. Despite of being the most expensive bike in its segment, Discover 100T performed well. Rajiv Bajaj said, they have lined up six discover to launch this year. They would launch all six or some of theme, depending upon the competition.
Bajaj is also ready to launch Duke 390 in next month.
