Mahindra has launched compact SUV, Mahindra thar CRDe in India. Mahindra Thar is priced at rupees 5.97 lakh to 6.28 lakh.
Mahindra Thar will be first launched in Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Mangalore and Jaipur. Later it will be launched in all over India.

Mahindra has sold 34,495 units registering 34.3 percent growth compare to 25,670 units in the corresponding month of 2009.In the domestic market, Mahindra registered rise of 32.41 per cent at 32,491 units compared to 24,538 units in 2009.
Suzuki Motorcycle India has sold 25,439 units reporting a growth of 60.51 percent in October 2010 compared with 15,849 units in the same month in 2009.
Tata Motors reported 21.26 percent increase in its sales to 64,757 units during October compared to 53,404 units in the same month last year.
During the month, total two wheeler sales of the company grew by 46% with sales of 191,822 units against 131,029 units registered in October 2009.
Cumulative two wheeler sales for the period April to October 2010 increased 34% with sales of 1,162,861 units over 868,509 units in April to October 2009.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd has launched its luxury SUV, Hyundai Santa Fe in India with two wheel drive and four wheel drive. New SUV is priced at 20.95 lakh for two wheel drive and 22.95 lakh for four wheel drive, ex-showroom, Delhi.
